Founder’s Perspective: My Favorite Things – July 2025 Edition

Founder’s Perspective: My Favorite Things – July 2025 Edition

There’s something about mid-summer that calls for simplicity. With the kids out of school, temperatures climbing here in Texas, and travel plans sprinkled throughout the calendar, I find myself craving things that make life just a little easier, healthier, and more joyful. So, in the spirit of summer survival and self-care, I’m sharing a few of my favorite things this month—from wellness picks to what’s helping me feel strong, supported, and connected to my body.

Here’s what I’m loving in July:

1. Cure Electrolytes – Everyday Hydration, Simplified

I have always been an LMNT girl, but honestly, they were just too salty for the level of activity I was doing a little while ago. Enter Cure Hydration Electrolytes—a total game-changer for my hydration routine. My favorite flavors are Lemon and Grapefruit, and I love that they offer a kids version too (a must during the Texas summer heat).

Whether you’re chasing toddlers, lifting weights, or managing pelvic floor symptoms, hydration matters. Electrolytes support energy, recovery, and even hormone balance. You don’t have to be dripping in sweat to benefit—our pelvic floor needs support every day, and staying hydrated is one way I show up for mine. Use this link to get $5 off your first order

2. Burn Boot Camp – Strength for Every Season

I joined Burn Boot Camp in April and have been going for three months now. While I haven’t been able to attend as consistently due to travel, I’ve still managed 23 classes—and I’m feeling it. Stronger arms, more core control, and most importantly, more trust in my body.

The environment is incredibly welcoming, especially for women. There’s a built-in childcare program (thank you, Kids Camp!), energetic trainers, and a real sense of community. What I love most? I can lift heavy without fear. Thanks to pelvic floor physical therapy, I’ve learned to avoid bearing down and instead use strategies that support prolapse management and total-body strength. This isn’t about “bouncing back.” It’s about building forward.

3. Brush on Block for Kids – SPF Without the Fuss

Putting sunscreen on wriggly kids can feel like an Olympic sport, but Brush on Block for Kids has made it 100% easier. It’s a mineral SPF 30 in a powder form that brushes on like magic. No mess. No meltdowns. It works beautifully on my skin too—and a single tube lasts forever, which makes the price more than worth it.

For anyone managing sensitive skin or navigating postpartum body changes, I find this formula non-irritating and mom-approved.

4. Emily Henry’s Great Big Beautiful Life – The Book That Gave Me All the Feels

This novel had me laughing, crying, and fully immersed in its characters’ lives. Emily Henry never misses, and Great Big Beautiful Life might be her best yet. I love contemporary romance (and fantasy romance too) for the way it lets me fall in love with the characters and live in their world for a little while. It’s a comforting escape—emotionally rich but not intense or heavy. This book was the perfect companion for quiet evenings and washing dishes alike.

Sometimes the best thing you can do for your pelvic floor is curl up, breathe deeply, and get lost in a story.

5. Stick on Apple TV – Feel-Good TV With a Side of Entrepreneurial Inspiration

I don’t get a lot of screen time, so when I do, I want it to count. Stick on Apple TV is fun, uplifting, and totally binge-worthy. My husband and I both love it—and it’s even sparked a new business idea between us. Bonus: you don’t need to care about golf to enjoy it (I don’t!).

Sometimes the best kind of self-care is just sharing a laugh and relaxing together.
